Solar Lentigos

Solar lentigos, also known as age spots or liver spots, are flat brown patches that appear on sun exposed areas. Although they themselves are benign they are a marker of longterm sun damage. Treatments are for aesthetic purposes and include bleaching creams, IPL, skin peels and Fraxel. Sun protection is an important way to prevent these and other signs of aging.
